Since its foundation in 1954, Norois has made a large contribution to French geography, its expression and influence around the world. Focussing on the west of France and Atlantic, Norois has broad ranging perspectives, taking in geography and environmental questions, as well as men and the territorial dynamics of social issues. The journal is edited by the Presses universitaires de Rennes, which is part of the West Atlantic universities network.
